A fruity keeved cider, partially fermented in oak barrels.
Keeving and initial fermentation takes place in large vats but on Burns Night the young cider is transferred to Scotch whisky barrels to finish and mature.
Medium sweet with smokey vanilla tannin and an oaky finish, Tamoshanta is great served chilled with Somerset Cheddar.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Clapton Craft. Pours mostly clear honey-gold with a fizzy head that fades out quickly. Lovely stuff, lots of juicy apple, a bit of ripeness, mellow acidity, some restrained musty funk, cellar. Medium bodied with spritzy carbonation. Rounded apple finish, pleasantly drying, more funk, woody dryness, a nip of lemon. Solid overall. Good depth, nice drinkability.

The taste is crisp, dry, tangy apple, dried apricot, peachy, nectarine, zingy, candied stuff, oak, vanilla, pal, tannin, refreshers and a hint of whisky with a drying and tannic finish.
