Tap at Borefts 2017, thanks to potjebier! Black with bubbly dark beige head. Flowery rum, honey, licorice, sweet chocolate, vanilla, more rum, a touch of glue, raisins, fudge. Quite sweet and medium bitter. Almost full bodied.

Bottled at Bishop's Arms Folkungagatan, Stockholm. Pitch black, minimal head. Intense aroma of quality rum. Quite sweet with full body and soft, dense mouthfeel. Licorice and coffee, but rum dominates. Not as balanced as regular Kaggen, the rum really drags you by the horns. But with the quality of the base beer it remains harmonious also when wave after wave of delicious rum crashes over it.

No Spanish gold can match that!
Thick oily pirate drink with a fine thick tan head. Good lacing. Solid aroma. Full body and a smooth carbonation level. Sweet, but not cloying. Very drinkable. Rum rum rum in the flavor. Do you like rum...go for it. Flavor last a fine time. Also some toffee and vanilla.

Cask @ Hakets Ölfestival. Intense amazing rum barrel nose with burnt sugar & spice. Even though the barrel dominates the lovely stormaktsporter roasty malt backbone shines through. Chocolate, coffee, charred wood & vanilla. Sweet, bitter, malty, tiny fruity & slightly spicy taste. Smooth, round & tiny viscous mouthfeel. Very rum-forward despite only spending one month in the wood. One could argue the rum hides the great base beer & one would be right. I love rum though & while this is very different to regular kaggen it’s delicious in its own unique way.
