Draft at Borefts 2017. Black color. Short, dense beige head. Aroma's: fruity, honey sweet, roasted malts. Retronasal it's sweetish, toffee, honey, creme brulee, alcoholic. Flavor is heavy sweet, honey, syrup. Strong alcohol feel. Medium to full bodied. Finish is sticky toffee, roasted. Not as good as previous editions, and very sweet, but still nice.

Thank you for sharing! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2017. Day 1. Black, small lacing mocha, tanned head. Nose is hot, hot, oddly boozy with herbal, liquorice, sprit. Taste is like spiced rum interesting, spiced rum syrup, dark berries, too hot, dark liquorice. Hot dark liquorice syrup bodied. Totally different from what I expected, bit too hot for me but interesting & nice beer.

Sampled at Borefts Bier Festival 2017. Pitch black pour with a tan head. Notes of raspberries, chocolate, smooth rum, dark fruit, intense dark chocolate. Full bodied, low carbonation, velvety texture, bitter-sweet and intense chocolate finish.

Gravity pour @ Borefts 2017. Black color with beige head. Aroma is rum, chocolate, brown barrel sugar, vanilla. Taste is rum, vanilla, chocolate, molasses, prunes, raisins. Silky mouthfeel with low carbonation. Very nice!

Clear dark brown beer, creamy beige head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: nice roast, caramel, malty, spicy, maple syrup, oxidized, sweet and sugary impression, some dried fruits. MF: soft carbon, medium to full body. Taste: sweet start, very malty, caramel, grains, sugary, alcohol, dried fruits, bit acidic, more alcohol, fruity notes. Aftertaste: alcohol, lots and lots of caramel, chocolate, more alcohol, nice dessert beer!
