Draught (Gravity pour) @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Närke Romkaggen! Stormaktsporter ].Clear dark black colour with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, dark malt, chocolate, alcohol - rum - buzzy, a bit rough buzzy and sweet malt - honey - molasses. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, alcohol - rum, dark malt, sweet malt - honey - molasses, chocolate, dark fruit - raisin, light wood - oak. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is quit alcholic. IMO: a bit more unbalanced than the normal Kaggen. [20170922] 8-5-8-4-16

At Borefts 2017. Aroma of chocolate, boozy rum, pepper and roasted malt. Taste has booze, raisin, chocolate, mild subtle tart, oak, rum and lots of licorice. Lacks the complexity the other Stormatsporters have, this was a bit of a letdown for me. Too boozy and too much licorice.

9 3 9 4 18 Draft at Borefts Beer Festival '17. Black with a beige head. Aroma of fruity rum, oak, dark chocolate, light coffee, caramel and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with a sticky palate and soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2017, day 1. Opaque pitch black color, small dark brown colored head. Aroma is definitely rum. Vanilla, cocoa. Taste malts, rum, cocoa, cocoa, a bit boozy, lightly sweet rum mixed with dark malts. Medium to full body, decent carbonation. Nice.

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2017. Black with a beige head. Sweetish, malty and slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, rum abd vanilla. Rather sweet, malty, slightly roasty taste of dark chocolate, coffee, lots of vanilla, honey and rum, followed by a medium long, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Full body, creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very good!
