Bottle at Akkurat. 35 euro for 25 cl sure is hefty, but given the extreme value of this series, I'm happy to be able to buy it for this price. Pours black, médium to small tanned head, lower side of stability. Smell is roasty, rhum, full, bit alcohol. Taste is noticeable boozy, on the border of too boozy, but still OK. Big roastyness, intense chocolate ( pure, dark chocolate) notes of oat, full bodied and lower side of Carbo, giving it a certain smoothness that still presents itself as a natural beer, in a world where impy are dominated by pastry. Surprisingly drinkable. Very nice one indeed.

Bottle @3 Sm� Rum. Black with small beige head. Aroma has leather, tobacco, vanilla, dark chocolate. Woody with a light, nice oxidised note. Malt, choc, warm rum-booze, dark sugar, caramel. Smooth with light boozy bite. Lovely.

On tap at Haandfest. An oily pour leaves a more or less black body topped by a tan head of moderate size. There's lots of dark rum on the nose, with dark sugars and coffee and chocolate in the back. Alcohol too. It's a full-bodied and lightly warming beer, sweet and smooth, with quite a lot of dark rum in the flavor. Not really boozy. Dark sugar, coffee and chocolate too in the flavor. Sort of like a praline said Berit of the brewery, and I agree. Lasting finish. There's too much rum going on here I think, but I sure wouldn't mind having it again. 170526

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 28 Sep 2017) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted, vinous nose with notes of rum, black coffee, dark chocolate and fiery alcohol aromas. Malty, roasted, vinous taste with dark chocolate, black coffee, liquorice, white rum and a vinous finish with a generous coffee bitterness and a certain rum sweetness. Full body, quite sweet. Very tasty, but possibly a bit too sweet and fiery to be called balanced. Excellent beer!

Black with brown head - Dark malt aroma with wood aroma - Dark malt flavour with some fruity toens with wood and vanilla - The dark malt fruity flavours with wodd and vanilla goes into the finish - This was real good
