Clear chestnut brown with a frothy tan head and berries on the nose, with a bit of earthy malt. Smooth and silky, sweet and fruity, some nutty malt with just a hint of dry, tart bitterness in the finish

Cask at Lych Gate Tavern, Wolverhampton. Pours a dark copper with a small cream head and good lacing. The aroma has plums and malts in it. Much the same in the mouth, where plums are joined by other summer fruits with traces of hops, ginger and general bitterness. Overall it is sweet and creamy. Finish is malts again. Bit of a strange one to classify, as it has many characteristics of an ESB โ just not the bitterness. Anyway, itโs great !
