RAFIKI is our Core Range session IPA. A hazy, pale-amber beer. Hopped with Mosaic, Ekuanot, Chinook, and Centennial for aromas of grapefruit, pine, citrus, and stone fruit. All backed up in a resinous, pithy, malty, session-strength IPA with a light bitterness.

330ml can. Hazy orange-gold, small off-white head, reasonable retention. Nice fresh tropical aroma of pineapple, mango and some pine. Taste is malty with fruity mango with some grass notes. A dry bitter finish. Light to moderate body which is fine but the carbonation is too high and fizzy on the palate. I also couldn't stop burping. I sounded like a frog on death row.

Keg @ Tap and Can. Unclear gold, white head. Fruity nose. Taste presents nice fruity character, apricot jam stepping forward with some additional zesty orange. Fresh, moderately sweet and nicely balanced. Good stuff.

(Draught at BrewDog Shepherd's Bush, London, 24 Nov 2018) Hazy pale amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of apricots, orange peel and some caramel. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, toffee, orange peel, apricots and a balanced citric bitterness in a slightly sweetish finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Hazy golden pour with a fine withe head. Ok lacing. Pleasant aroma with a fine fresh hop profile. Ok balanced sweetness and bitterness. Semi dry and a fine tail. Grapefruit hoppy, fruity and pine in the flavor. Tasty and very session able beer. [Can from Utobeer Market Stall (Borough) in London, England] Brewery #2046
