Can. Hazy gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, slightly soft, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Light malts bring a thin creamy sweetness. Smooth piney hop. Modest tropical fruits well buried. Trace of citrus. Crisp finish. Clean and drinkable but like most SIPAs, it left me feeling vaguely short changed.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from Clapton Craft. Pours hazy gold with a sturdy, frothy white head. Nice aroma, some pithy grapefruit, dry pale malts, a few biscuits, hay, lemon. Light sweet flavour with mellow bitterness, a bit of pine, more citrus rind, biscuity pale malts, pith. Light bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Pretty well balanced in the finish, with more pithy citrus, light piney bitterness, supportive crisp pale malts, light biscuity notes, lemon rind. Really drinkable SIPA. One of the better offerings from Villages to date.
