From bottle thanks to Ioannis. Black color with brown head. Malty roasted aroma, coffee, chocolate, nutty, cocoa, caramel. Sweet and light bitter taste. Medium oily body with soft carbonation.

330mL bottle, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out moderate roasted malt, soy sauce and a little vanilla. Flavour is very complex, with vanilla, medium roast, light oak and some cola. Sweet and boozy, with a vanilla-like finish. Excellent.

bottle from @Taboada for Secret Santa 2017, pours black with a full very fine light brown head. Aroma has a huge amount of sweet chocolate, milk chocolate, lactose, some smoked malts, roasted, licorice, moccha, very... very nice. Taste of roasted malts, quite dry mouthfeel, toasted malts, dark chocolate, licorice, not the thickest porter, vanilla, charcoal, coffee, medium sweetness, medium bitterness, lovely slick mouthfeel, medium to average body, really liked this one. again thanks Alex ! --- Beer merged from original tick of Blackadder on 15 May 2018 at 14:29 - Score: 8

Bottle. Black pour. Aroma of mocha coffee, caramel, licorice, cream and chocolate. Taste of bitter mocha coffee, roasted malt, caramel, chocolate and roast. Thick body and mouthfeel. Bitter malty finish. Quite a heavy beer, solid tasty stuff.

Draught @ 9th. BBF 2017 [ 9th Borefts Beer Festival 2017 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As La Pirata / Laugar Blackadder ].Clear dark black brown colour with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, burnt, dark malt. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, dark malt, burnt, roasted. Caña en Cimmeria 03-11-2017. (r17). Color negro con espuma beige. Sabores maltosos tostados con toques de cacaos y especias. Ligeros torrefactos con amargo final algo herbaceo. Cuerpo medio con buena sensacion alcoholica. Bastante buena. Para repetor.

Bottle at Beerlovers Bar. Thnx Ingrid ! Pours black, medium to small white head. Smell is rich, dark malts, cocoa and coffee, mildly ashy. Taste is full, intense, ashy, roasted. bit thin. Big on the coffee towards the end. Roasty. No cocoa in the taste to me.
