Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light grapefruit aroma. Summer fruit and grapefruit flavor. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Summer fruit and grapefruit linger with light sweet malt.

Clear amber-bronze color with a medium frothy bone white head that dissipates gradually to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of citrus, hops and malt. Medium body with flavors of grapefruit, herbal hops and roast malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short citrusy hop aftertaste. Decent overall.

Bomber from His Nibs in Anaheim. Pours translucent gold with a white head. Aroma of prunus fruits, lightly cooked. Med + body. Flavor is prunus fruits with some slightly cooked caramel and a touch of earth (although cactus came to mind). It’s a bit far from dry, and it’s bitter enough for me. Finishes with a sort of ripe prunus fruit impression. I really like it, but it’s not at the top for current IPAs. 5 or 10 years ago I bet this would have been hot!

22oz bomber pours up with a slightly hazy deep gold body that supports an off white head of foam. The aroma offers up a modest level of earthy lime citrus, faint sweet malts and a dash of malt nuanced hop resininess. The taste has a pleasing somewhat restrained balanced hoppiness with floral to dank earthy onion hops to start. It then slides toward more and more hop bitterness. To midway grapefruit and tangelo and a dash of dried apricot come to the surface and then run into a resiny spot into the finish. Tasty IPA
