Tap at the tasting room. Pours hazy/opaque almost muddy dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of brown sugar and uncertain hop. Full bodied. Lots of flavor. surprisingly dry. Brown sugar flavor, but lots and lots of hop bitterness. but not like NW bitter; maybe like E Coast bitter. Gets earthy with time. Maybe I’d have thought it was an American Strong Ale. A pleasant surprise. Still thinking it’s pretty dry. Nice drink. But not exactly a sipper!
