12oz bottle pours with a crystal clear gold body that supports a white head. The aroma offers up soft grapefruit, clementine and malts with a quick hit of spicy hops out at the edges. The taste delivers a nice grapefruit and tangerine citrus hop bite and then it heads into a modest malt sweetness to midway. Pretty nice bitter hop session beer that attains an adequate body to keep it cohesive.

Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours light gold with a white head. Aroma suggests cat pee. Med body or nearly. Flavor is citrus and fruit, maybe a little earth; malt/caramel is barely detectable by me, but there’s enough to support a very decent amount of hop. Flavors aren’t rich and strong, but this isn’t a DIPA after all.

Draft. Golden beer with a cream head. Grapefruit aroma. Grapefruit and pine flavor. Medium bodied. Grapefruit and pine lingers with light astringency (but not bad).

On tap at the Beer Baron. It pours a clear pale yellow color with a white head. The aroma is lemony with orange and a touch of flowers. The flavor is light with a little lemon and herbal hops. Light bodied with crackery malts. Low to medium bitterness. A pretty mild, but good Session IPA.

12 oz bottle poured into a Spiegelau tulip. Mostly clear yellow with a hint of haze and about a finger of off-white head. Aromas of citrus, floral notes, light biscuit, candied fruit. Tastes of light citrus and floral. Medium-light body with a dry finish.
