Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma is fairly chocolate. Med + body. Flavor is sort of lactic/milky chocolate with smooth dark malt. Not dry. Not bitter. Nice.

[2/2/16] Draught at The Crafty Fox Ale House in San Francisco. Black. Roasty aroma with coffee, licorice, a bit of piney hops. Bittersweet flavor with roast, coffee, licorice, some bitter hops. Medium to full-bodied.
