Tap at the brewpub. Pours Guinness with a silky tan head. Dark malt aroma. Near full body. Flavor is a coffee note and rather sweet dark malt. Maybe a chocolate note too. It’s very smooth. somehow it finishes towards both dry and mildly bitter. Mundane, but in an excellent way. Odd that. Goes a little earthy with time. Finally brings Baltic Porter to mind. Heat is not an issue.
