Tap at Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours dark brown with a dark tan head. Aroma is light chocolate/coffee. Med ++ body. F - a coffee flavor I’m not familiar with - kopi lewak came to mind. It’s coffee bitter, but not strongly so - there’s a tongue attack which could be bitter or heat. Smooth dark treacle. Seems to have an underlying light wintergreen note. I call complex. Heavy duty with no single standout flavor. Delicious.
