Draft pour pint at Boundary Bay, Bellingham. 5 dollar pint special, and decided it was too good to pass up. Clean copper pour, moderate sticky head and lacing. Bready malt nose, touch or caramel. Medium body, slight cream, caramel malts, barely rich. Soft toast finish. Easy drinking, and very tasty.

Thanks Frank.
This was poured into a mug, the appearance was a slightly clear amber color with a finger’s worth of eggshell white foamy head. Slight lace.
The aroma had some dry roasted toffee malts with a light floral to herbal hop bitterness. Light earthiness. Some toast at the end.
The flavor was somewhat sweet between the floral and herbal qualities. Sly little malty aftertaste and finish.
The palate was just a tad under medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Some carbonation was felt, but not distracting.
Overall, pretty good for an American brewer to come up with an \"Irish red\" fairly close to style. I’d have again.

Bomber from Malt & Vine. Pours clear, dark and ruddy with a slight beige head. Aroma is treacle in a moderate way with something that could be floral hop. Med body or so. Flavor is a bit different - making me think of herbal hop. It is fairly dry, tho it seems mostly about the malt. Better than a lot of "Irish reds".

On tap at Bitter Tasting Room, pours a clear orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma of dry bitter malts, caramel and low sweetness. Flavour of toffee, dry bitter malts, with low sweetness and a sort of dry hop note at the end. Light body. Decent but unadventurous.
