A banging Imperial stout brewed with coconut and a Caturra coffee from Costa Rica.

Bottle: Literally black, surely no head to speak of, distinctive sweet-bitter aroma of roasted malt, coffee, cacao and coconuts; solid sweet-bitter flavour, full bodied, silky MF; lingering sweet and mildly bitter finish with the usual suspects and a light warming alcohol-burn in the aftertaste. Great winter-warmer, even though the coconuts are not really necessary...

Bottle. Pitch black. Explosion of wonderous aromas - mollasses, licorice, oak, coconut. And then it's even better in the mouth, with cocoa up the wazpoo and all those other delights. I'll be back!

A great dark, roasty and bitterness is balanced. Clean and tasty. Complex. Puhjalal tallinn (3.8 2019) Tried again gollem raamsteeg, maybe a 3.9 beer. Sweet and strong... but very good. Still 3.8 (oct 20122) Again at gollem raamsteeg, great beer

330ml bottle. Jet black colour with small to average, frothy, fading, dark brown head. Minimally soapy, coconut aroma, chocolately, dark malty background, coffee overtones. Taste is sweet-ish caramel and dark malty, hints of coconut, coffee, treacle, some warming and minimally biting alcohol in the finish. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate. I'm not a big fan of coconut - applies here.
