Draught at EBF, 2/3/17.
Hazy, golden-bronze with a small, rapidly receding, beige head.
Pears rise up quite fragrantly in the nose but there’s a lot of acetic acid and sugar lying behind it. Some unclean notes, lightly chemical and quite damaging to the nose with light alcohol and huge fruity esters, almost like spoiled peach.
In the mouth it’s too sweet, seemingly oxidized with a lovely pear flavor but light chemical and somewhat rotting/spoiled fruit notes mixing with alcohol. Low carbonation, rather thick, sugary texture. Obviously something went quite wrong here.
