Draught at the brewery, 8/12/17.
Cloudy (???) dark amber with a small, off-white head showing low retention.
Roasted nuts galore mix with peanut butter and caramel...is this a DMS bomb? Seems like it and it dominates the nose.
In the mouth it fares better, given that DMS is usually stronger in the nose. Soft, malty, low acidity/bitterness (almost zero hops apparent) and lots of caramel, honey and peanut character in the mouth. Soft and supple texture, however, saves the day somewhat. Still rather strange about the strong peanut character....

LSAT Freedom Trip #86. Keg at the brewpub, their flagship according to the bartender. Murky brown, thin white head, fair retention. Aroma of caramel and mild chocolate. The taste is earth, caramel, chocolate, mild fruits, herbal hops. Medium bodied.
