330ml bottle [#427/500]. Jet black colour with late awakening, small, creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, dark beige to tan head. Roasty dark malty, slightly peaty and minimally alcoholic aroma, hints of rum with a touch of glue, notes of dark chocolate, some toffee. Taste is slightly spicy and minimally smoky, roasty dark malty, hints of liquorice and peat, alcohol, rum. Oily texture, smooth and soft palate, very fine, soft carbonation. Quite boozy, the rum is more disruptive than supportive. Will be interesting to see if other versions profit more from BA.

Sample from 33 cl bottle. Pitch black with a thin lightly tanned head. Fruity aroma with peat, dark malts and fruits. Taste is sweet. Full bodied. Sweet finish with dark malts.

Bottle@Jespers - pours black with a tan head. Dark sweet and roasted malty with prominent whisky notes, meidum body, dark malty and spiced dark malty finish.

13-08-18 // botlle from BeyondBeer. Shared. Deep black and a brown lacing. Nose of rum and whisky alcoholic notes and a sweetness. Aroma is strong malty, sweet, rum liquor sweet. Coffee aromas in the back. Light oily texture. Bitter chocolate and coffee in the mouth, long lasting. Good one.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Kehrwieder Kingston Barrel Aged Stout ].Clear dark dark black colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, light brown head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, dark malt, rum, wood, heavy alcohol, buzzy, light oak, peat - whisky - wood notes. Flavor is light heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, rum - alcohol, molasses, sweet dark malt, wood, dark malt. Body is medium to full, texture is oily - creamy, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is light to moderate alcoholic. [20180520] 7-3-8-4-16

Shared at tasting @ Koelschtrinker's place. Bottle 144/500. Great woody Rum beginning. Deep dried raisins, malty wood, intense dense. Fantastic balanced, wood, Rum, great! The body is dense and in the back, the woody rum aroma is fantastic balanced with the thick rich dark beer! Great!

Bottle shared at Koelschtrinker's place. A very dark brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of strong dark malt, mild roasted malt, coffee, some vanilla. Taste of sweet chocolate, mild roasted malt, vanilla, toffee.
