La Battin Christmas est une bière ambrée au goût de malt caramélisé. Subtil mélange de malt torréfié et de malt de Munich, la Christmas propose des couleurs et des arômes d’automne et d’hiver pour se réchauffer au coin du feu.

Bottle at the Düsseldorf Gathering. Clear amber body. Creamy, light brown body. Aroma of hops and malts. Lightly hoppy bitter, moderately sweet flavour.

On the new labels from Bofferding, the Gambrinus name has disappeared Reddish chestnut beer with small yellowish head, fast gone. Sweet, ever so slightly nutty nose - like hazelnut-chocolate paste. Slightly herbal background, and once more, arachideoil/peanut butter - getting stronger. Sweet taste, with a marked wry finish. Retronasal again malt and sugary sweetness. Also, a perfumey-soapy flavour creeps in retronasal. Cheap type of fourrée Praliné Light to medium bodied, slighly syrupy texture. All these "Battin" beers are dull, dull to the extreme. Not: bad. Thanks for all the Luxemburg stuff, Marcus
