For the first of this year's Christmas releases we fell back to our beloved Red Ale base style, incorporating our favourite British and Belgian specialist malt to create the perfect base to layer upon oodles of chocolate and vanilla. You should expect a slightly sweet base beer with notes of your favourite Christmas treat!

Can from Greyfriar, Reading. Aroma is scrumptious. Full on rye and grains... like the ultimate breakfast cerial. Dark clear amber. Thick foamy white head (admittedly ni longervthe case in the photo below). Flavourwise, we have a car crash, but from the perspective of a snuff pervert. I.e it's good. Big toasty rye. Tangy berries and fruity. There may well be facets I have forgotten about because they big juicy sour slightly spicy wave has crushed all before it like a runaway refuse freighter. But throughout we have that rye.. I... I... I... WoUlD SEt MySELF on FIRE FOR YoU. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Lifted by soft-fizzy carbonation. Long dry somewhat astringent finish. Drunk whilst listening to skramz under the warm light fairy lights.

Hazy red beer, solid white head. Solid malty aroma with chocolate and some hops. Flsvour follows suit. Distinct biscuity malt, milk chocolate, vanilla, the slightly fruity hops again and the chocolate really lingers into the finish. Really nice!
