Brown pour. Thin foam around the rim. Sweet nutty flavor of pecan. Nice pecan finish. Full bodied.

Smoke, charred tobacco nose. Hazy brown, thin head. Soil, charred oak. Medium body, easy carbonation.

Could have been a lot better but they made it bitter and added some more black patent or molasses or something and and now it's just so so. A pity.

Bottle 22fl.oz. @ [ chriso & Boudicca's pre- GBBF Shindig 2017 ] - Chris and Ruth's House, London. [ As Pig Pounder Boar Brown ].Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly to fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, light ash. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, sour - sour bread, ash, caramel, sweet malt, smoked notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20170806] 6-3-6-3-11

Bottle shared at Chriso's Pre-GBBF Shindig. 06/08/2017. Many thanks! A deep a,ber brown coloured pour with a beige head. Aoroma is coffee, earthy brown malts, woody coffee. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty malts, mineral, coffee. Palate is frothy airy carbonation, semi sweet, thin, little mineral.

Bottle shared at Chris & Ruth’s pre-GBBF Shindig 2017 - Part 2. A clear orange brown beer with a small beige head. Aroma of dark malt, reddish malt, some chocolate and caramel. Taste of brown malt, mild bitter hops, caramel and nuts.

Tap at Darryl’s, Greensboro. Colour is clear reddish brown with small white head. Aromas and flavors: Chocolate, some coffee, dryness and some malts. Boring and needs malts.

Draft at the source, staff choice. Clear dark amber color, tan head. Cocoa aroma. Taste has chocolate and caramel. Nice.

Bottle. Pretty brown-orange color with lace. Nose is chocolate malt, molasses, brown sugar. Sweet flavor, molasses and sugar, caramel, light coffee. Sweet and tangy, quite estery. Interesting and tasty though a tad too sweet for me.
