Crisp clear light copper and deep golden coloured body with a fairly thin, off-white head, only one centimetre tall, at most. Aroma of crisp malt and biscuits with a light yeast bite, along with some honey and light citrus fruit scents. Light-bodied; Very crisp malt flavour at first with a crisp fruit flavour of nectarines and stone fruits and a touch of honey at the end, but the crisp and slightly dry malt shows through everything else. Aftertaste shows the funky malts, yeast and a slight flavour of prickly pear, soursop or guanabana - very odd, but nice, given it's unique aspects, but crisp yeast really shows through at the tail end. Overall, nice and crisp with some solid flavours throughout, but a light complexity and smooth drinking body makes this very refreshing, especially this time of year (Summer!). I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Harris Teeter in Arlington (Pentagon Row), Virginia on 08-July-2019 for US$1,87 sampled at home in Washington, just five days later on 13-July-2019.

12 oz Bottle. Hops and pineapple on the sniff. Its refreshing! Goes down nicely with a distinct pineapple aftertaste. Hops are light and not overpowering. I get some nice malts mid-palate as well. Plale yellow and an off white head.

Dang it I love helles. This is a good one, and nice to see Sierra Nevada kicking out lagers better than ever. Maybe it's a side effect of their wonderful collabs on oktoberfests. This one is golden, clear, crisp and clean with a balanced moderate hop bitterness at finish. Mild resin flavors balance an equally mild bready malt. Mainly dry.

12oz bottle. Not sure why I had never rated this one, maybe I had it on tap and it is in the backlog. A very Sierra Nevada-ish Helles, still has that bold hoppy tone, which sort of makes it more of an IPL to me. Quite sessionable. clean mouthfeel. Good beer.

Bottle at home trying to get a few deep prior to wife’s aunt and uncle coming over to ease awkwardness. Clear gold brew with a small sudsy head. Nose is tropical fruit and zesty spice. Tastes of melon, honey, orange zest, coriander and florals. Light bitterness and crisp. Like it.
