Bringing the old Belgian flavors back to the R&D brewhouse with Cellarman Sam’s Belgian Red. Classic notes of banana & clove from the yeast, subtle earthiness from East Kent Goldings hops, and a nice hazy red color from a touch of Crystal malts. Coming it at a nice round 8% ABV, Rough Draughts: Belgian Red is a nice winter warmer.

Tap at Maxs. Kind of cool because I don't see many US breweries doing this style. Aggressively thick Amber malts. Coupled with the Belgian yeast, it comes off very full bodied for 8%. Almost has a red food dye thing going on. Gets a little brutal and choresome.
