To Ophelia who gave me something to laugh about for the past 8 years. I'll miss you forever. Bottle thanks to Drake. Pours black with a soft tan-brown head. Mocha, fudge, coffee, chocolate, cream nose. Mocha, brownie, coffee grounds and coffee, cocoa, brown leaf/grass. Finishes with a slow, lingering bitterness... just like life. I picked a good one to dedicate to her.

Tap at Third Space. Big, thick, creamy, beige head. Brown-black body, stained glass red edges. The base porter nails it. The coffee adds some depth. On the fuller side of medium bodied. Good. Roasty.

Keg at the brewery,10/14/16. Dark brown, thin creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of strong coffee, roasted malt. The taste is strong coffee, dark chocolate, roasted malts, hints of of vanilla. Reminds me of coffee ice cream. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, smooth.
