Keg at the Third Ward location, 9/30/23. Near black, large tan head, good retention. Aroma of roast, coffee, chocolate, vanilla. Taste is roast, caramel, coffee, chocolate, green hops. Well balanced.

Tap at Explorium. Deep black body. Steady beige head. Pretty respectable example of the style, perhaps a little thin to be called Imperial. Filtered body keeps it clean. True, oily Porter like malt tones. OK.
