Dry-hopped Belgian-style sour blonde ale
Humulus Rueuze, our Terreux classic, is a variation on our take on the traditional Belgian-style lambic gueuze with a true Bruery twist: massive amounts of dry hops. This sour blonde aged for upwards of several years in oak barrels before blending barrels together and adding hops for a flavorful, aromatic blend. This is one complex beer, and it’s best consumed fresh.

Hazy yellow golden color with a fine white head. Nice fresh aroma. Ok intensity. Medium (+) body and an average carbonation level. Pleasant balanced acidity. Dry ending and a lasting tail. Nice brett profile in the flavor. Also fruity, citric and some herbal/grassy notes.

Pour is a very slightly hazy medium amber, a small head that quickly vanishes and no lace. Aroma is tart some fruit spices hint of funk. Flavor most of that disappears and mainly get vinegar carbonation just suggestion of fruit. Good body. Long tart finish.
