New and improved Strange Brew in a can. It’s a red cream ale. The body of the beer will be like a lager but have a stronger red ale finish with the new experimental hops ‘HBC-472’ with woody, floral aromas.

Canned. Hazy yellow colour with a mmediumsized creamy white foamy head. Aroma is lemongrass, some herbs, mild toffee and some spicy elements. Flavour is floral, grassy, earthy and some mild toffeeish and herbal tones. Nicely balanced.

Keg at the brewery tap caravan. A clear amber nut brown coloured pour with a lasting loose beige head. Aroma is brown sugars, brown bread, rye apple, stale grains. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty brown bread, meaty, rye, vanilla, cakey malts. Palate is semi sweet, meaty, mellow carbonation.

Third, on tap at Deviant & Dandy Taproom. Hazed amber coloured body, spotty lacing from a steady beige head. Dark bread on the nose, hints of fruit. Slightly jam-like taste profile. Dried fruity ending, mid-sweet. Quite alright. (Hackney, London 28.09.2018).

Can 330ml. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Deviant & Dandy Strange Brew Lawnmower Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow colour with a large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light grain, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, grassy, pale malt, grain. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. 33 cl can. Pours clear and golden yellow. Small white head. Aroma is mild fruity. Grassy and slight herbal hoppy. Bitter, sweet and slight fruity. Lingering fruity. Mild sweet. Mellow and fruity finish.
