Glenora Whiskey Barrel-Aged Fruitcake Stout
There are certain souls that leave an indelible impression on our lives, and James was a man who left us filled with wonder in his selflessness. An homage to his beloved holiday fruitcake, this beer was conditioned on brandy soaked organic plums grown here at Big Spruce, and organic Medjool dates. We then aged it in local whiskey barrels for 9 months. Raise a glass to a true Saint. S math sin!

[2018 vintage?] 650mL bottle. Pours black with no head. Whiskey, gentle malts, and dried fruit on the nose. Flavour has roasted malts, tart dried plums, plenty of hot whiskey throughout, especially on the finish. Some oxidation. A bit thin on the palate.
