500ml green bottle. Pours straw. Popcorn and skunk aroma. Butter, peach, nectarine, nice herbal hop character. There's a decent beer in here somewhere, but it struggles to get over the faults.

Keg at the CP&K, 17/03/15. Clear golden blonde with a well presented white cap that stays for the show. Nose is cereal, pale malts, bread dough, straw, lemon zest. Taste comprises bread dough, fresh pastry, vanilla essence, sweet tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light grassy bitterness in the close. Decent clean pils.

lovely saazy hop nose with a strong toasted malt character. Very restrained bitterness, dry finish. Fairly nice for what it is.

Bottled. A golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, grass, and hay. The flavor is sweet malty combined with notes of hay and grass, leading to a bitter finish.

(Bottle 50 cl) Hazy, pale golden with a small, white head. Very fresh aroma of fruit and summer flowers. Quite a solid, malty body with a good malt sweetness before a very solid hop bitterness with loads of aroma hops and fresh flower notes. Yet another example to show that capable New Zealand micros can brew excellent pilseners with locally grown hops. 040208
