Poured into a becher pint glass the appearance was glossy transparent yellow color with a thin white foamy head that dissipated at decent pace. Messy foamy lace sticks well.
The aroma blended subtle sweet crisp onion dankiness flowing over some pinenuts and a delicate malt backbone.
The flavor seemed to balance between the sweet onion dankiness to the pinenut sweetness. Some underlying bitterness. Hoppy dank onion sweet to bitter aftertaste, semi-sticky. Wet onion danky sticky finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium with a little bit of a hop burn going down the throat. Has some sessionable quality about it disregarding some of that hop burn, but carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, aroma and flavor felt spot on, but some of that hop burn needs to be controlled. Maybe again.

Pours a clear, golden yellow, with mid-sized head. Aroma is full of citrus and hops (there’s almost a aroma of curry in there, if I’m not mistaken). Flavor is very fruity--lots of citrus, some tropical--with a nice hop bite to the finish.

12 ounce bottle. Clear copper, thin foamy white head, good retention. Aroma of pine, tangerine, resin, toasted malt. The taste is grapefruit, lime, resin, pine. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. Solid.

Full of that candied tropical fruit hop with sweet malts. A bit herbal somehow. Medium bodied. Finish is sweet and fruity. Middle of the road.

12 oz can from the new Folly Pack. Aroma is chalky candy, slightly floral, citrus peel, latex, a quickly disappearing faint note of onion--kind of faint, altogether. Pours slightly hazy golden with a one finger off-white head that falls after a minute into a ring and some lace. Taste is mildly bitter with faint citrusy hop qualities. Perfectly fine carbonation, medium bodied. A tasty, very simple and straightforward pale ale that I can picture throwing back more than a few with no problems.

12oz bottle. Filtered tan-orange body. Foamy white head. Pretty decent hop depth, leaning towards some new school tropical tones. Quite drinkable, but still packs some nice flavor. I’m not wild about the body, I find it a little sugary, but overall an enjoyable, modern enough Pale Ale. OK.
