Bottle from wegmans chatauqua. Metallic flower smell. Looks like any other pale ale. Taste is weird spice bordering on unacceptable flowery bullshit. Becomes difficult in the middle. So many stupid ass different kinds of craft beer since the craft beer revolution of the 2000s. In the end, this thing lets you know its 6%, especially on the lavender near cloying finish. How about somebody simply make a great easy to drink belgian....oh, they're out there, you know, mr O? Yes, was looking forward to a gentle belgian but got a rather rude, not sexy, domestic wannah bee.

Bottle 12fl.oz. @ The Shnoodlepip, London. [ As Empire White Aphro ].ABV: 6.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat, spicy, soapy, ginger, ginger - coriander alike, lavender - flowers - honey - nectar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, spicy, pale malt, wheat, again this sopay think ala ginger - coriander - lavendel - honey. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20160811] 5-3-5-3-9

Bottle, taster. Tasted on the 17/03/2018 at "Barcelona Beer Festival 2018", L´Hospitalet (Spain). Hazy pale golden colour with a medium to low white head. Aroma of citrus, lavander and coriander. Taste is intense lime and lemon with a floral touch. Next one please!

On tap at empire brewing farmstead. Pours out a pale straw color topped with a small white head. Nose is lemon citrus floral spice. Taste is more of the lemon spice citrus notes and a little wheat sweetness.

On tap @ Fools Gold. Smells superbly interesting this! Really spiced up and different. It looks really good also with a near glowing bright orangey cloudy colored body and a lacing and dotting white dense head. Lots of lavender and ginger juices! There's also a mild saisonish funkiness with oranges, wheat and yeast. Really good. Tastes unlike any saison I've ever had. There's lots of yeast apples, lavender, clementine zest, white pepper and soft ginger in the taste. Thin oily on the texture and it's just blow average and small bubbled.
