Bottle. Pours clear gold. White head. Nose of caramel malt, spruce and pine. Taste is caramel malt, lots of maple and spruce and light pine wood. Lightish body.

A golden lager with a thin white head. A chalky aroma with light malt. In mouth, a light grainy refreshing pils, with spent grains, medium bodied. Bottle at Mondiale 2010.

Bottle: Poured a light yellow color beer with a medium pure white foamy head with OK retention. Aroma of lightly sweet malt with light fruity ester is OK. Taste is quiet light with some notes of lightly sweet malt and light fruity ester and not much else. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK with no brewing flaws but not something to go for very often.

Bottle. Poured gold with a white head. Aroma consisted of both grainy and wheat bread notes. Flavor was crisp with a bit of resin hops but mainly grainy malts. Nice and crisp on the tongue.

12 oz bottle. Pours golden with a white head. Light honey aroma. Biscuit, honey, and light hoppy flavor. Light and straightforward, pleasant.

bottle - Pours yellow with a one finger head. It has a light bready malt aroma. The flavor is fairly bland with the sweet bready malts revealing a touch of fruit accent. There’s some light hops too, but my bottle didn’t taste like it had the 30 IBUs noted in the commercial description above. Light bodied and borderline watery, it was an okay craft beer but I was underwhelmed.

Bottle from Beer Geek. Hazy golden color with a frothy, white, temporary head. Aromas of pale malt and citrus zest. Lemon zest. Near medium body with creamy carbonation. Weird. The flavor is like a really good pale lager, with that citrus zest and some really good grassy bitter. Pilsen malt and Saaz hops - nailed it!!!!!!!!!!! Nice fruit to go with that. What Urquell would be on top fermenting? Tasty little devil. Arguably underrated.

Looks like any other pale yellow american beer but has a very slight haze. Gentle yeasty aroma. Ok fizz on the palate. Gentle in it’s own way on the taste buds. Some hop feel to it but mostly well behaved. Mild bitter linger on the finish. Decent brew.

12oz bottle. My first New Holland beer. Sweet sugary brewery aroma with hint of banana. Very smooth and balanced Kolsch-style beer. Malty, but not thick, with a crisp, earthy hoppiness not unlike an APA. Easy drinking, tasty stuff. Great session beer. 2010-update...I get a lot of lemon grass flavor. An interestingly intense variation of the style. Well done.
