Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2016, [ Great British Beer Festival 2016 ], London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Battledown Gin House ].Unclear medium amber orange colour with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, spicy, ginger, herbs. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, spicy, ginger - like ginger tea - tea, pale malt, sweet malt, floral - hebal. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy gin floral aroma. Fruity malty spicy gin flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy gin finish.

Sampled @ GBBF day 1. Hazy murky orange brownish color, small white head. Smell and taste malts, herbs or spices, I guess gin, quite spicy sweetish as well. Not my thin at all. Meh at best.

Gbbf. Trübes orange goldenes Bier. Geruch nach Gewürzen, minze, Ingwer. Geschmack würzig, grüner Tee, Ingwer.

Tried at the Theoc, Tewkesbury. hazy amber colour with a thin tan head. Aroma has spiced malt, the taste mainly bitter. Not sure about the gin botanicals!
