750mL bottle at Stout week line share 2/18/24. Dark, inky, viscous. Little/no head. Big pepper and various spicy, nutty and other interesting bourbon and rye aromas. Lots going on here and it's much more unique and varied than your typical bout on ba stout. Clean, not hot, malty, not sugary. Big and rich, soft and luxurious with a dextrinous, chewy texture. More big spice of all sorts, great balance, big malts, not too sweet and already not hot. This one's going to age with the best of em. Man, maman is so much better than Abraxas, even just on a texture and aroma basis, forget the lack of adjunct.
