Give yourself to the dark side and allow yourself to be beckoned towards this velvety, silky stout seducer. This dark, devilish enticer has a rich, deep character that packs a chocolatey and nutty hit. Be careful because when you do succumb, it’ll disarm you with its complex flavours swirled up by the moreish malty layers.

Bottle from the LCBO. Jet black pour, with a medium brown head. Aroma is very roasty, lots of cocoa powder, milk chocolate, and some dark coffee. mouth feel is creamy, and the carb is satisfying. Low to medium bitterness, semi sweet, cocoa fades, and the coffee comes to the forefront with the roast.

330ml bottle, pours black with beige head, minimal retention. Aroma of roasted malts, chocolate, coffee. some stone fruits. Taste is sweet, treacle, roasted nuts, coffee. Finish is a good bitterness with some sour fruit. Body and carbonation is ok. A good stout.

33 cl bottle @ home, BBE 06/2020 Aroma has coffee, cocoa and molasses. Flavour has ash, tobacco, chocolate and coffee. Brilliant stuff for this ABV.
