Can 440ml @ gunnfryd
Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has notes of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, brown sugar, alcohol and coconut. Taste is heavy sweet and light bitter with a long warm, chocolate, coconut and brown sugar finish. Body is full, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Can. Opaque dark brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. Smooth palate, mildly dry, decent fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, mellow with oaty sweetness and smooth mellow creamy dark chocolate. Touch of ripe cherry. Spice and a little tang. Mild coconut, as in as a sprinkle in the background. Chocolate fudge cake. Some bitterness on the back end. Smooth but semi dry finish leaves a mildly spicy linger. It's definitely not a pastry job this one and slightly discordant when cold. Much better when warming up and much more coherent. Licorice comes bubbling up. Smooth spicy finish. Good stuff. But this is Amundsen and it may have worked better as a pastry.
