Cask (gravity) @ NBF 2017 [ The 42th. Nottingham Beer Festival (The 10th Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival) ], Nottingham Castle, Friar Lane, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England NG1 6EB. [ As Aurora Big Dark ].Clear dark black - red brown colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted - chocolate, dark malt, sweet malt, light licorice. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, dark malt, roasted - chocolate, wood, light licorice notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat.
