Appearance is very dark, with a small fizzy beige head. Aroma is coffee, chocolate, dark roasty malt, chocolate cake, malty bread. Taste is chocolate, fudgy malt, coffee, hints of burnt dark fruit, roast malt, chocolatey sweetness, toasty caramel and biscuity malt.

Panda at home, thanks to Fergus, 12/03/22. Light black with a khaki head that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is chocolate biscuit, mellow roast, charr, coffee bean, toffee. Taste comprises bitter sweet chocolate, molasses, brown sugar dusting, modest coffee notes, roast malts, dried fruits, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Tidy enough porter.

Can at home picked up from BBNo Bermondsey. Amostly clear dark nutty brown coloured pour with a lasting lively mid tan head. Aroma is nice earthy roast coffee, ash, little farmyard, singed pine tips, brown bread, coffee bean. Flavour is composed of dry earthy roast, earthy coffee, bean, pine, spicy coffee bean. toasted brown bread. Palate is semi sweet woody, oily, moderate carbonation. Good.
