Originally brewed as a Father’s Day request for a Manchester chocolatier this stout has a chocolate backbone without ever coming over too sweet.

Malts kilned until they have developed a chocolate flavour, the rawest form of chocolate and a good helping of the best cacao powder makes this an extremely drinkable mid-abv stout. Originally thought of as a limited edition, this beer quite literally forced its way into our line-up. Its ace all year round.

Cask at GBBF Trade Day Tuesday 7th August 2017 Pours dark brown with a slim swiftly departing off white head. Cocoa and some milk chocolate, nice. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.6

Cask at the GBBF 2017. Day 1. 08/08/2017. A black black brown coloured pour with a a loose tan head. Aroma is earthy choc, dried coco powder, light apple. Flavour is composed bitter choc, lactose, milk choc, earthy roast. Palate is milky medium sweet, lowish carbonation. Decent.

Cask at GBBF 2017. Dark black.. Thin tan lacing. . Dark sweet chocolate malts nose.. Sweet chocolate.. King sweet artificial chocolate sauce
