Nose of stone fruit, herbs and deep caramelized malt., mahogany-walnut hue, crisp and creamy body with notes of fig, anise, caramel, clove, subtle dark cherry tartness that carry through a myriad of warming dry bitter herbs. Finishes clean and dry with lingering notes of toffee, licorice and plum.

Bottle shared by Marcus. Pours dark copper with a bege head. Aroma of darish fruit and sweet malt/toffee nose. Clove. Med body. Flavor is dark fruit, clove, toffee. Likely dark cherry. Seems to have a wood note. Subtly complex. FDlavors need to be firmer. Cherry gets stronger in the finish.
