Draft. Amber beer with a cream head. Light spice and light grapefruit aroma. Spice and earth flavor with grapefruit. Medium bodied. Good bitterness. Pine and earth lingers with spice.

22oz bomber pours with a slightly hazy deep gold body that has copper hues and supports a weak off white head. The mild aroma offers up some citrus hops and pineapple and other vague sweet fruity notes. The taste starts with a bitter hoppy bite of pine, grapefruit and pineapple where it quickly picks up resiny hoppiness. To midway it brings up a sense of a rye like twang amid the resiny hops. I just bought this bottle but maybe it’s long in the tooth.

Bomber from Capitol Beer in Sacramento, CA. Pours very light copper with a slight white head. Aroma of tropical fruits over citrus. Med + body. Flavor is tropical fruit, suddenly assaulted by rye, and it does develop some citrus. There’ a little maltiness, but the hop covers that, and it’s arguably heading towards dry. Tropical fruits pop back in the finish. Tasty ale.

Cask at Acoustic Ales, SD, 19/04/14. I too a picture of the beer list but this was the one and only beer that didn’t list an ABV - doh! Clear pale golden with a good sized off white covering. Nose is punchy hops, spice, bread dough, bitter citrics, grapefruit, orange pith. Taste comprises nice dank hop tones, pissy dank NZ goodness, grapefruit, bitter citric rind, toasted malt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi aggressive hop bitterness. Top draw IPA, and they pulled this off on cask!
