Bomber from the Woodland CostCo. Pours very dark and ruddy with a creamy tan head. Aroma of dark roast malt with a hint of maple. Chocolate is present, but not dominate. Full bodied, or nearly. Flavor is chocolate, earthy dark malt and a hint of maple. It’s fairly dry, the earthiness making it resemble dark chocolate. Pretty good, but don’t count on maple.

This beer pours a brownish-black color with a medium tan head that diminishes steadily to a film. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Roast malt and chocolate in the nose. Light-bodied with flavors of roasted malt, sweet chocolate syrup and mild coffee. The finish is roasty with a chocolate malt aftertaste. Decent overall.

4 oz draft at Out of Bounds Brewing. Dark brownish black with light tan head. Aromas of light floral notes, chocolate, sweet fruit. Tastes of chocolate, caramel, nutty notes, light roast. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid.
