This 7% IPA is brewed with loads of American and New Zealand hops, it has an amazingly fruity aroma and flavour (without the bitterness you may expect for such a heavily hopped beer) and is backed up with a biscuity malt base.

Smell of citrus, fruit, some hops. Cloudy amber colour, white head. Aroma of mango, citrus, pineapple and other fruit. Extremely fruity as the label promises. Very little traditional hoppiness to be noted. Sweet, no notable bitterness. Clear IPA characteristics, though. Is pretty much exactly what it promises to be.

Can at home, 7th January 17. Pours a dark Amber, nice frothy head. Aroma is peach, pine, biscuit, marzipan. Taste is peach, sweet resin, pine needles, citrus pith, then a lingering bitterness, with a great biscuity malt balance. Very nice IPA

Can from Cornelius. Clear amber body with a medium off-white head. Steady carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of melon, dandelion and blood orange. Flavour of nettles, orange and hop spice. Medium body with an oily mouthfeel. Prickly fizz. Looking at Hawksheadโ€™s Twitter page I can see that this was canned less than a week ago. It certainly tastes fresh and is tongue-tinglingly hoppy.

Bottled. An amber beer with a yellowish head. The aroma has notes of straw, lemons, hops, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of fruits, malt, hops, and spices, leading to a bitter finish.
