This 7% IPA is brewed with loads of American and New Zealand hops, it has an amazingly fruity aroma and flavour (without the bitterness you may expect for such a heavily hopped beer) and is backed up with a biscuity malt base.

Cask at the Quakerhouse, Darlington. Clear amber colour, foamy white head and hoppy aroma with tropical fruit and citrusy notes. Taste is sweetish malt caramel along with piney, citrus grapefruit hop lingering bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry bitter finish. Quite drinkable IPA.

Cask handpull at The Craft Clerkenwell. Amber slightly hazy lasting white head. Piney grapefruit aroma. Tropical fruit in the flavour. Good aroma and flavour. Some bitterness on the finish. Mandarin flavour. Black pepper on the finish. Yes a good UK take on a West Coast Ipa. Not got the finesse of a Kernel. Bit syrup sweet. Decent.

Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Hazy gold - amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and airy. Mild fine carbonation. Dry pale malt. Big hops - fresh hop spice, bitter pine, little grass, bitterish tropical fruits. Finishes light and dry with a strong hop bitter linger. Tasty but a bit dry.

Cask @ Old Gate, Hebden Bridge. Golden with a thick creamy head. It’s well hopped with tropical fruits abundant in both aroma and taste, but slightly deeper tasting in the latter aspect due to its strength which is evident.
