Pours black from the bottle. The foamy head fairly quickly dissipates. Mild roasted aromas. Taste is overall mildly bitter with notes of coffee, lightly burnt toast, and (faintly) tart berry. Trends lightly sour at the finish. Body is on the light side. Okay.

Sampled from tap at Amsterdam Craft Beer Fest 2016. Pitch black with a fluffy, beige head. Sweetish-malty, slightly roasty aroma of dark chocolate, coffee, some licorice and some caramel. Sweetish, moderately roasty-malty taste of coffee, dark chocolate and some licorice, followed by a short, moderately roasty-bitter finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Okay.
