On draft at Tap 25. It pours a clear light amber color with an off white head. The aroma is nice and malty with some campfire and smoky ham. The flavor is the same. Good smoke, ham and malt melanoidens with a lightly phenolic finish. Some more smoked meat and a touch of soap in the aftertaste. It has a medium body and feels oily on the palate. Overall, an above average smoked beer that tastes very German in character.

Tap at Kupros. Pours Amber with a beige head. Mild smoke aroma. Med body. Flavor is moderate smoke with some nice hop. Finishes almost dry and smoky bitter. Not over done. Nice.
