Bottle from Bine & Vine. Pours copper with a slight white head. Aroma of yeast and rye. Med + body. Flavor is starting strongly bourbon (Four Roses Cask per label), has some rye spice, Belgian yeast/esters (somewhat eclipsed by the bourbon). This is very tasty. Rye and light bourbon seem a good combination. Finishes spicy, not really bitter, but certainly much more bitter than "sweet". Nice.

Bottle. Rich amber beer with a low cream head. Malt and light smokey aroma with light bourbon and light vanilla. Bourbon and vanilla flavor with caramel. Medium bodied. Bourbon and vanilla linger with light oak, caramel, light fruitiness, light smoke, and light yeast.
