Bottle. Brown color with a slightly off white head. Aroma is a nutty, malt aroma with hints of caramel. Taste is nutty and very tastey. Slight sweet up front with a slightly bitter aftertaste.

Bottle from Whole Foods in Folsom, CA. Pours dark copper (against light) with a slight beige head. Aroma is malty nutty. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly nutty, mildly darkly malty with a nod towards cola. Finishes with a bitter note. Not terrible. Not likely to choose it again.

12 ounce bottle from Whole Foods Charlottesville. Pours a clear dark amber color with a thin creamy off-white head. Average head retention. Aroma of sweet caramel malts and a faint bit of nuttiness. The taste is caramel malts, nuts, soy. The very faintest hops. Thin-medium bodied.
